Q: pregnancy woes, has this happened to you?
I need to know if this has ever happened to anyone else, or someone you knew?? In the last 5 months i have only had my period 2 times! I have all the pregnancy symptoms except for throwing up! (nausea, tender breasts, white bumps on nipples, light cramping, tingling in feet and breasts, headaches, fatigue, incontinence, frequent urination, ect) the thing is is that i test negative on home pregnancy tests, and in December i have tested negative on a blood test, but my symptoms just started about a month ago, and i have not had a blood test since DEC, has this happened to anyone and they were actually still pregnant?? I know a couple people who didn’t test positive until thier 5th month, and i know other people who have had thier “”periods”" during pregnancy, has anyone had both? and still been pregnant, i really feel like i am, and i look very pregnant too…. http://www.flickr.com/photos/48654619@N04/sets/72157623680191926/ please look at these photos! EVERYONE at work thinks i am pregnant. Sometimes i feel like i feel something moving, almost like little rubbing but that could always be gas, ive just never felt anything like it until recently. please look at my pictures and let me know what you think and if you have ever heard of this before, my email should be listed please please if anyone has any answers what so ever i would really appreciate it, i know all about phantom pregnancies and all that so if thats ur suggestion then dont waste your time writing it down because i am already aware of it, and right now its right along side with the possibility of having a cyst (which is probably what up) also please dont tell me that i need to go to the doctors, i will be going! i just want to know if this has happened to anyone else becase even after talking about this with some of the people at work with, based on my symptoms and how i look they still think i am pregnant. i wanna hear if this happened to you and if you were pregnant?

A: At this point is very unlikely you are pregnant, and yes a cyst is the most likely cause. That or pseudocyesis, I’ll let you look that one up.

A: if you were pregnant you would have tested positive not having your period for three months is not good go to the doctor find out why you didn’t have your period

Q: Just got back from the ER threatened miscarriage… help!!!?
hi there as most of you ttc’ers allready know my husband and I have been ttc for two months..I’m now 7 weeks, this is my second pregnancy, my first pregnancy three years ago resulted in a molar pregnancy at 14 weeks, i had to have chemo after that pregnancy to kill the tissue at the time there was two gestational sacs, three yolks but no fetal poles.now currently, my lmp was 09/04 i should be 7 weeks. thursday evening i started spotting when I wiped around 7pm. by 9pm it became dark red blood, as if the start of a period with minor cramping by 11pm the cramping became somewhat severe and the blood flow heavy. however no clots. around 2am they gave me a trasvaginal ultrasound, right before they gave it too me i passed one, and only one clot, it was about the size of my index finger but twice as thick. it was not grey, it was just bloody but she said it def was not a fetus. she gave me the ultrasound and all she saw was a sac measuring about 5 weeks (no fetal pole just a sac, but she said at 5 weeks this was common, however i should be 7 weeks) she also said she found a small cyst but assured me a cyst was normal in pregnant women. my hcg levels are about 1,000 which she said is very low, but if my conception date is 5 weeks back it should actually only be at 1000, my first pregnancy test showed 6miu on 10/4 and 10miu on the 10th, so the calculations should put me about 1000 now. I know i conceived between either on the 11th or 9/22-9/28 so it is possible im only 5 weeks and I ovulate late in my 32 day cycle. As of right now I have and have had no pregnancy symptoms except for sore breasts, huger,irritability and siatic pain in my bum, and the typical “on” stretching uterine and hip pain. there asking me to come back monday to measure hcg again, they said my cervix is closed.. im still bleeding, pretty heavy, enough to soak two pads in 24 hours. is there a decent chance i wont miscarry? Has anyone experienced this and still had a healthy pregnancy? I’m not passing any clots, just heavy bleeding and some tissue passage, lighly, here and there when i pee. any advice for me… im resting, in bed not moving at all except too pee. they gave my vicodin for the cramping… I can still feel the cramping through the pain meds and im getting wicked wicked ass headaches,,, and the bloods still heavy.. but no clots… also if i am ultimitly going to miscarry what can i expect its been two days now,im still bleeding but am i just waiting for a gush and than thats it, its all over? painwise etc…when should i get myself to an er… ie: whats not normal for a miscarriage? and if im not going to miscarry is there anything.. ie like progesterone or removal of that cyst my dr can do to give me a better fighting chance.. has anyone beat the odds here? I know I can try again but if i can do anything to save my babys life ill do it. I feel strong.. like i can beat this.. i dont know it is o wierd too feel that way

A: I had a very similar experience during my first pregnancy. I carried that baby to 36 weeks. He was a healthy baby.
My last pregnancy I had a couple of episodes of bleeding. My progesterone was very, very low. I ended up on progesterone pills, suppositories, and shots just to keep it high enough for me not to miscarry. I had that baby at 37 weeks..health baby.

Honestly you have been through this before, so I am not telling you nothing you do not know. Try to stay calm, and hang in there. I would also insist they check your progesterone level.

Q: Lumps in breasts and armpit.?
Ever since my boobs started to grow ive felt little lumps. Ive had my breasts checked around 3 months ago when i seen my gyno for a pap smear. I also had a baby 6 months ago and didnt breastfeed. Im nearly 19yrs old.
Now im really skinny and dont have much boobs so i can feel everything when i poke around. On the lower half of my breasts under the nipple on both sides i feel long flat lumps that move around easily.
When i aske dthe doctor she said its nothing but im still paranoid. Also when i push really deep into my armpit i feel a ball that moves around.
Ive had a chest xray and upper abdominal ct scan and ultrasound and everything is normal. Ive also had blood work that says everything is normal.
What could these lumps be. I know anyone can get acncer but no one in either side of my family ahs ever had it. One of my sisters has really lumpy breasts but she was told there cysts or something.
Can i not stress about mine? I suffer with really bad anxiety so i obsess about my body alot and get paranoid but i know for certain im not just feeling things.
Could i be feeling milk ducts or something? Whats the chances of having breast cancer in the both breasts in the same place?

I also have hard little lump sin the back of my neck and in my groin taht are long, but my doctor keeps saying iits from stress and being so skinny

A: As I and everyone else has answered this question…you’re still normal. You’re starting to seem a bit like a hypochondriac. You can keep asking and maybe someone will give you an answer you prefer, but you’re still fine. Unless you have medicaid, your insurance won’t cover you constantly having your breasts checked because of your age. If you’re paying for it yourself, you’ll go broke pretty fast.

Heck, medicaid especially won’t cover it.

A: You’re fine, stop panicking. Everyone has lumpies in their breasts; that’s what they’re made of. I went to the doc years ago because of lumps in my armpits. I can’t even be tickled, it hurt too bad. My doc said it’s either lymph glands or breast tissue that’s made it’s way up into the area. Don’t worry, after having a baby, everything changes.

A: What you are feeling are called lymph nodes. They are found in both breasts especially in the area near your armpit. They are very normal and are what your body uses to fight infections and clean out your blood. When doing self breast exams you want to look for asymmetry between the two breasts. So if the lumps that you feel get bigger or there is suddenly something in one side that isn’t in the other then you can start worrying. But at your young age and with no family history of breast cancer you should not be anxious about breast cancer. Try to relax and not worry about breast cancer until you are in your 40’s, then just get routine mammograms.

A: breast cancer is usually associated with painless small hard breast lumps. cysts are usually larger softer and painful. I have cystic breasts with lots of painful cysts that give off a burning sensation 2 weeks before my periods. I noticed a lump under my armpit aswell.. I went to the docs and turns out it was only an ingrown hair. you should definately get checked out.
