Q: G-spot question….I am very scared?
I tried to feel my vagina’s anterior wall and found something where the G-spot should be, about 1,5-2 inches inside it. The problem is, it was really weirdly shaped, and I don’t know if it is a G-spot or a cyst. It was shaped like a ball only PARTIALLY “glued” to the vagina (in the exact same way a breast is “glued” to your body), so I could put my finger BETWEEN it and the anterior vaginal wall. It is pretty rough to the touch. If I try to press it it feels like I have to pee, it is sensitive. Also, it can be found towards the left side of the vagina’s wall (and not in the middle).

The part that worries me is that I don’t know whether it is my G-spot or just a lump in my body that needs medical attention.

I must also mention that I encountered it right after having a clitoridian orgasm.(I heard the G-spot swells when you are aroused- although that would not explain why it was partially detached of the vaginal wall).

Q: What are these puss filled balls i keep getting! (not pimples)?
I keep getting these cyst like things in my armpits, genital area, and sometimes on my breasts. i usually only have one at a time. i get one about every two or three weeks. During the first stage they are very hard and painful. Then puss will come to the top and it is bloody and a TON comes out. more than the normal pimple. i have no clue what these are! help!

A: Sounds like just what you said, they are cysts. Sounds like maybe your oil glands are going crazy, is my best guess. Usually stuff like this is caused by heat, sweat, bacteria, and since you say they’re in ‘hot spots’- armpits and groin- those are hot, sweaty places. I would definitely go see a dermatologist- not a regular doc. (Schedule the appointment for a time when you have an example of one to show them!)

Q: Is it still possible that i have an ectopic pregnancy?
Almost 4 weeks ago I started feeling really bad pain in my uterus (i guess) during the sex and about the same day my breasts would hurt so much for 10 days, but no more. Since then, my husband and I stopped having sex. We tried, but it was still hurting. I just could make an appointment for the next week. Sometimes I would feel a pain in my lower ab, most in the right side and it was on an off. Than 1 week ago my belly and pelvic area sort of got bigger. Than the pain was more frequently. My period came not late on Monday night and during the day I was feeling the pain if I stretched, picked up from the floor, etc. Then even if i was sitting I could feel this pain. I wasn’t killing me, it was worrying me. Detail, I did lots of pregnancies tests before my period and all negatives. Than I went to the ER on Tuesday cause this pain was disturbing me. They did a urine test and I didn’t get positive. They prescribed me antibiotic and something for pain. Also they gave me a shot, saying that I might have a urine infection. They didn’t even touch me.
The thing is, I feel that there are balls in my ovaries and I feel the pain on my right ab, in the belly button line, again, when I stretch, or bend, sit, for example. Sometimes I feel it on my low back. I started the medicine today. And my period so far, looks like it’s gonna end up soon, and I’m just in the second day. And I feel full, huge, heavy even if I didn’t eat very much. The scale changed too.
I wanted a blood test for making sure I don’t have an ectopic pregnancy, but they didn’t do and my doctor’s appointment will be just next week. I’m so confused, because I know I have many symptoms that can be either from a cyst, an ectopic pregnancy or urine or kidney infection or even just Pre period. And I’m scared cause my doctor’s appointment is one week from now. I know this sort of pregnancies need to be diagnostic soon.
Does anybody have an opinion, suggest? anything until I see my doctor.
I feel so floated, heavy, like I never felt before in my life and it’s killing me that I couldn’t get an appointment before.
As I said, my period lasted for 2 days, it’s almost gone. There’s just a little brown discharge now. I don’t feel so heavy anymore, but I’m still floated and something is disturbing on my right low back. Sometimes it goes to the abdomen, but it’s concentrated on the back. It’s a little better when I drink chamomile tea. And sometimes I feel dizzy, but as the ER prescribed, I’m taking Ofloxacin and Naproxen that it says it may cause dizziness. I’m trying doctors, but the earliest I found is for Sunday (I didn’t know that doctors work on Sundays, but that’s good). Also, I’m pretty constipated.
I’m not constipated anymore, so this is not the reason for my floating.

A: The ER should have done a blood test. I would call your doctor and convince them you need a blood pregnancy test immediately. You should not need an appt to have on done. If the blood test comes back negative you are not pregnant. HCG (human chorionic gonadotropin) is a hormone produced by embryos shortly after conception. Even ectopic pregnancies release HCG. Typically HCG levels will double everyday in early pregnancy and with threatened miscarriage or ectopic pregancy they level off instead of doubling but they would still be present.

I think you need to have an ultrasound done as well. Call your doc and explain your concerns. If they will not get you in sooner call another doctor. Keep trying til you get someone who will give you the blood test.

Q: If not pregnant then what???
I’ve been having unusual periods for 3 months now, am on bcp so they’re usually regular and about 3 days with heavy flow. Past 2 months had only light pink bleeding followed by brown spot,then this month had 3 days but not heavy as usual. Have been having blue veins on thighs,hip/pelvic area,arms,chest and breasts through nipples,slight nausea only every once in a while, peeing a lot, wake up and sit on toilet for about 2 minutes! lol, extremely tired for the past couple of months,MOODY!!! EMOTIONAL!!! Tingly nipples that comes and goes, breasts are feeling SLIGHTLY tender today but not enough to bother and af is only in about 2 1/2 weeks. Have been taking hpts and blood tests, bloods negative,some hpt’s negative and the very sensitive one (10) very very very faint positive and then negative again. Can’t drink coffee in the morning it makes me feel nauseous, tea is nice though,and it has to be VERY sweet!!! Craving sweet stuff, and I NEVER eat sweats,just a chocolate once in a while, now I can’t get enough hot chocolate into my body…Slight weight gain, about 3-4 pounds in about 2 days and I didn’t eat more than usual. I am tired of getting negative tests and faint positives! Wouldn’t it be showing by now? Also, if I press down on my uterus it feels like there’s something in there on the right side, like a round ball but it doesn’t hurt. It’s not a cyst. I’ve had them and I know what it feels like. Also, I’ve been having very weird dreams lately, last night as hubby and I were sleeping, I dreamt the cat jumped on the bed and then rubbed her paws against my tummy and I remember thinking/dreaming I am pregnant, but now I can’t remember if it was a dream or if it really happened!!! They say when hubby picks up weight and you crave sweets you’re pregnant with a girl (I think), hubby has gained about 4 pounds and he’s eating LESS!!!! So anyone have any advice on any of what I said, pleeeeease help me!!!! Anyone been pregnant and kept getting negative tests and abnormal/unusual periods?? Also, I am having LOTS of creamy milky white lotiony cm,and slight lower abdominal and lower back cramping. Last month I had only this white CM no EWCM nothing. A: Yes all that happend to me with my 3rd child. You need a scan. I had a very bad preg inside me. I dont want to worry you. My baby boy died. But they do say if any line does not matter how it is. Then you are preg. But get checked out. A scan is very very important. You will be fine. Try a test again in two week. It could be your body is trying to act preg as you want it so bad.

Q: Periods after Depo Provera driving me mad! PLEASE help?
Hi, I’m a 22 year old, overweight female and really need some help about my post Depo Provera periods cause they are driving me crazy.
I was on the Depo shot for about 18months, I had my last shot in July 2008 and decided to have a break from Depo because, oddly I didn’t like not getting a period for 18 months and I just wanted to make sure everything was ok, that and Depo really wasn’t good for my emotional state.
I had slight bleeding for a couple of days in January 2009, but then nothing until mid August 09 and then I had relatively light, dark brownish bleeding on and off until mid October 09 where bleeding started to be heavier and more like a normal period for me. In early November my period started to get very heavy and very deep Red in colour. I started passing a few clots, one being the size of a golf ball.
I spoke to a nurse who said this was probably just because my uterus lining got very thick and now it was shedding.
At the end of Nov 09 I actually got a few period free days, before they started up again.
My bleeding has been very heavy the past few days and I’ve been passing very stringy and firm clots and been cramping a lot, today noticeably on my right side. I have also been urinating a more frequently. For the last few weeks I’ve also had very sore breasts. Last week my nipples were so sore I could hardly bare to wear a bra, or put my duvet over them at night.

Other notes to mention. Late Nov 09 I had a suspected umbilical cyst which seemed to rupture on its own without the need to drain. A later ultrasound over my belly button showed nothing left.
Me and my partner have had unprotected sex on my period free days over the last few weeks.
I had a pregnancy test at the hospital on 20th Nov when I went in for my cyst.

I just want to know if this all sounds ok??? Has anyone had similar experiences??
I made the mistake of googling some of my symptoms and the results were all sorts of horrible things so my mind is going overtime.
Please help. Any help will be greatly appreciated

A: This is soo strange i just googled my problems and found that you were worrying about the same thing at the same time.

My story started when i was 15, i am also 22 and have 3 children, i first had the depo-jag when i was 15 and i only had it for the first 3 months to which my periods stopped, but when the three months was up and i never continued the jag my periods came bk for around 9 months heavy and light at times it was a nightmare, after about 11 12 months i fell pregnant and do not have a huge gap between each child and i also breatfed which stopped the cycle t, but my youngest is 2 now so last year decided to go bk on contraception, so i was given the pill which is compatible with breastfeedin, periods weren`t to bad but stareted to get really heavy and constant after 3 months, so i then changed to the bar in my arm(cant remeber actuall name), that was even worse from start to end constant and heavy!!, s eventually plucked up the courage to get it out, and went on the depo again tinkining it would be safe?, so my ive had it for 6 months now and my third jag was just due there on the 17th but i decided not to get it because yet again i bled bled bled , which my partner is getting very frustrated with!, i did stop bleeding on wednesday but just staretd again now, i am now really fed up and no0one seems to know what 2 do ?? dunno if this is much help but looks like im in the same boat as you! x

Q: Can 13 year olds get ovarian cancer or cysts if there body has developed early?
Im 13, when I was shaving my vajj this morning I found this little bump about three or four inches above my clitorus, and it kinda feels like a little ball on top of my uterous and when I felt it it hurt really bad like it was sharp pain down there. And now my uterous hurts. Could I have cancer, or a std, and can u get ovarian cancer from sex. Im not a virgin, but I’m like 95% sure my bf was a virgin too. And I was wondering could this also be from hitting puberty so early, I dont look my age at all. I got my period when I was 10, and started getting breasts when I was 8. And when I was 10, I was the only one in the whole 5th grade that had hairy legs and hairy underarms. And still do, and I started getting pubic hair at 9. And I’m 13 and a 36DD, and my breasts are already starting to sag, its ridiculous. Is this normal. Or do I have some genitic disorder that causes my body to hit puberty too fast, cause my mom didnt hit puberty till she was 14-15, whats wrong with me, I just finished middle school and look like a damn woman at 13. And possibily may have ovarian cancer. Im too young too have cancer, please help

A: Yes it is possible to get ovarian cancer or cysts at your age, but it is very rare for someone this young to have cancer and most females have cysts, but never know it. However, what you describe has nothing to do with either. You cannot feel your uterus to know if the is a ball there and could never reach the top of it, so I have no idea where you are referring to, but there is nothing in your statement that indicates any kind of cancer.

You cannot get cancer from another person nor can you get it from having sex. However, having sex at your age is a risk factor for cervical cancer and if you should get pregnant that is another one. Starting your period so young is a risk factor for breast cancer. Having one or more risk factors doesn’t mean you will get cancer it only increases your risk for it. Your risk for these cancer increase with age and you do not need to be concerned about breast cancer for another 30 years. You can get cervical cancer in your 20s and should be getting pap smears a year or so after first intercourse.

You could very well have a hormonal problem and you should be checked for that. It could lead to several problems for you in the coming years. As far as cancer goes, the reason starting your period before the age of 12 is a risk factor is the increased time you are exposed to these hormones and the young age you are exposed to them. Breast cancers are hormone driven.

I don’t know if you are open enough with your mother to tell her you are having sex or not, but I suggest you talk to her about the hormone issue and you see a doctor. The doctor however does need to know and he or she and anyone who works for them legally cannot tell your mom if you don’t want them to so always be honest with your doctor.

Q: breasts and nipples 4months after child birth.?
I had my son 4months ago and didnt breastfeed ( I didnt have a choice, he was very hungry and in special care)
Ive never taken much notice but now i feel like my nipples are always burning. My nipples looked cracked and i can see that the crack looks a white colour. Nothing comes out when i squeeze them but it does make them burn. What could this be?
Also since having my son all my skin feels lumpy, all the muscles in my stomach and thighs and now i feel it on the sides of my breasts (both sides) There not huge lumps just lumpy muscle, is this normal??
I asked my doctor but she said she isnt concerned because there is no discharge and because the fact i had a baby 4months ago.

Could i perhaps have mastitis? This has now been going on for 3-4weeks?
Due to other problems ive had blood tests, urine samples, ultrasounds and ct scans and nothing is wrong with me and all my bloods are fine.

No diseases run in my family, no cancer. One of my sisters has boobs full of cysts but there not dangerous. I odnt feel balls, just lumpy muscle. I only have small boobs by the way and they dont look like there growing in any way.

A: Squeezing and seeing the white colour in your nipple is perfectly normal, dont do it if it hurts/burns…as for your tummy….the stomach muscles do get a workout when you are preggo…and they separate…exercise will help sort them out…yes its very normal.

Mastitis is huge overfull (with milk) boobs…if you didnt breastfeed and dont have milk then you do not have mastitis.

I am sure you are fine all over…having a baby, especially your first, your body goes through immense changes…some permananet others are not…Its normal for you to be curious & concerned about all these changes… they are all normal stuff.
